FEFO (first expired, first out)

Selling or using first the stock that expires first, whatever order it arrived in.

FEFO stands for first expired, first out. It's FIFO for goods with an expiry date: a delivery that arrived later but expires sooner goes out first. Food, drinks, cosmetics, medicines and anything with a best-before date are handled this way.

FEFO only works if each lot's expiry date is recorded. In Binhop, an item tracked by lot keeps every lot's expiry date, and taking stock out without naming a lot takes the lots that expire first.
